Until now, the Chinese platform has been used mainly by young people, but it is now becoming more popular and welcoming all kinds of content creators for an increasingly large audience. Many tiktokers are now rubbing shoulders with the famous, some reaching a dizzying number of followers. Here are some of the Spanish accounts that are currently popular.
Twenty-one year old Benji Krol has been racking up a huge following. He has over 31 million followers on his TikTok account (31.4 million) and has become one of Spain's most influential content creators. Before he became famous, the Brazilian-born Madrilenian posted videos on the platform only for personal enjoyment. But Benji Krol quickly became a hit on the app and created an eponymous YouTube channel in the process. The young influencer has made a name for himself on TikTok thanks to a varied feed ranging from simple dancing to lifestyle content. A diversity that can also be found on his YouTube channel, where you can watch videos of all kinds: cooking, fashion, challenges... Benji Krol has also managed to conquer hearts thanks to his angelic face. However, the young man is no longer a heartthrob, as he has been sharing his life with Jorge Garay since 2020. The relationship has been made public on social networks by both Benji and his partner, who is also a TikTok star.
With some 28 million followers, the least we can say is that Naim Darrechi is popular on TikTok. The twenty-year-old singer gained notoriety in 2016 thanks to his YouTube channel and Instagram account. His popularity has been growing ever since. Naïm even released a book in 2019 entitled Muy personal in which he opens up about himself. In 2020, the TikTok leader received the award for best Spanish artist at the Kids Choice Award. Despite his dazzling success on various social networks, the young Spaniard continues to sing and has a dozen tracks to his credit since 2019.

The Spanish singer, who is enjoying international success on the music scene, is also very popular on TikTok, where she has no less than 24 million followers. The unheralded singer made a name for herself last March by organising a concert on TikTok to celebrate the release of her third album Motomami, a first on the Chinese platform. The young Catalan regularly posts videos of herself performing, singing and dancing to her own music, and also shares videos of her concerts to the delight of her fans.
This young woman in her thirties has built up a large community of subscribers on the platform (over 23 million followers) thanks to her humorous videos. Julia Menu García creates a series of videos in which she stages and interprets two characters that she calls "the TikTok sisters". These two characters are brought to life in a book entitled Las locas aventuras de las hermanas de TikTok. In addition to the comical aspect of her account, the young woman offers a variety of content ranging from music videos to make-up tutorials, including videos in duet with her partner Francisco Callejón, who has a following of 9 million. She also made news in 2021 when she revealed that she had earned a total of almost 18,000 euros thanks to the music platform TikTok.
Twenty-four-year-old Samuel Lopez has won over TikTok with his dance performances and other comedy videos, which he shares with 19.9 million followers. Originally a professional dancer himself, he has proven to be a real inspiration to many other dancers of his generation through the app. His popularity soared in 2020 when he made his relationship with Osstev, also a tiktokeur, official.
Jordi Puig, known as Jordi Koalitic, is a Spanish photographer and video artist. On his TikTok account, he gathers 19.5 million people thanks to his art. He publishes mostly videos in which he shares his work, even revealing the backstage of his photo shoots. His reputation is well established, as he has already collaborated with renowned brands such as Lamborghini, Mercedes Benz, Redbull... but also with international stars such as Will Smith, Liza Koshy or Pepe Aguilar. A photographer since 2012, the Barcelona native is reaching an increasingly large audience through social networking.

After making a name for themselves on YouTube, the Twin Melody twins have become real TikTok stars. Singing, dancing, challenges... The twins, who made a name for themselves on YouTube by covering the songs of many artists such as Luis Fonsi, Adele or Ed Sheeran, have now conquered 18 million followers on TikTok but also on TV. The two young women have participated in the famous Spanish talk shows El Hormiguero and La Resistancia.
